Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) provides provinces with the benefits of targeted recruiting and the selection of foreign nationals who can help meet the local labour market and economic needs of each province. Unlike the Express Entry programs, each province has its own selection criteria that serves to attract talents to fulfill occupational specific labour shortage in each province. Candidates selected under the PNP program will be able to apply for Permanent Residence once they receive Certificate of Nomination from the province they intend to reside permanently.
