Express Entry

As an online program, Express Entry was introduced by the federal government in 2015 to enable qualifying skilled workers to apply for permanent residence. The program consists of 3 categories: Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker, and Federal Skilled Trades Class.

As a point-based system, the program first ranks then selects candidates with the most points based on factors such as age, level of education, work history, language skills, and job offer in Canada. Applicants with higher ranks will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency through Express Entry.
